Heads up, game makers.
HP is offering the thinnest workstation laptop yet – the Omen Pro.
Similar to the original Omen gaming laptop, Omen Pro features a 15.6-inch 1080p touchscreen and a 0.78-inch, 4.68-pound aluminium frame. But unlike the original Omen, it sports a more powerful Core i7 processor and a Nvidia Quadro K1100M graphics card.
While the new laptop is just 19.9mm thin and weighs about 4.68 pounds, it comes with 16GB memory and runs Windows 7 Professional.
Although the RAM capacity tops out at 16GB, HP gives the user two storage options: HP’s 256GB or 512GB Z Turbo PCIe solid-state drives.
This makes the super-thin laptop truly perfect for graphics-hungry professionals.
Now if there’s another notable change from the original Omen is the red LED keyboard backlighting changing to a more subdued white.
Clearly, Omen Pro’s specifications are impressive which successfully balance style and hardware prowess.
So, want to get your hands on this mobile workstation?
Then head over to HP’s website and get the laptop for $2,199.
